I have had nothing but electrical issues with my car. I have owned less than 1 year and it’s been in the garage at least 7 times because of this. I need to research and get help on what will happen once the paperwork is started. Thanks

Question by Tucsonlilly: Rip Off Artist. My husband and I bought a used car from a guy on Craigslist. Two weeks later…?
the transmission is shot! Oh well, it happens with used cars. Right? Well, just got a call from our mechanic he told us the seller deliberately hid the problem just so he could sell it. In doing that he actually did MORE damage to the transmission!!! Do we have any rights? Can someone deliberately hide a problem just to sell a car???? I live in Arizona and our Lemon laws only cover sales through a dealer.

Question by : Under what circumstances can my car fall under the lemon law?
I purchased a car with an extended warranty which I later found had many issues, from an actual dealership. Neither the dealer, nor the warranty company will compensate for my broken engine and transmission mounts, leaving me to have to cough up half of the car’s price. Does this fall under the lemon law??

Question by : How to keep from paying for a new license plate. =S?
I’m going car shopping in a couple of months. Well my first car broke so I dropped the insurance and turned the tag in. Well when I bought my 2nd car the dealership had my tag ready for me before my paper tag expired. It was paid through all the fees in stuff during the F&I process. Well it turned out to be a lemon so I got rid of it through the BBB and with the help of the lemon laws and Tallahassee and dropped the insurance on the car but kept my policy in case I bought another one. I also turned the tag in from the second car, too. Well I couldn’t get another car anytime soon and I canceled my policy with Geico. Well a year later I’m in the car game again and was wondering since I have 2 tags that I turned in, how would I go about getting one of them so I don’t have to pay that $ 100 fee for a tag, and/or keeping the dealer from adding it into all the fees and stuff? They gave me papers saying that I turned the tags in but I can’t find them and was wondering if i need them, since every thing’s on file.
BTW can I just get auto insurance before I get a car, that way all I have to do is have it added on there? OR do I just do like I did last year and get auto insurance & the car @ the same time when I’m @ the dealership.
