How To Return Your Car on the Lemon Law
February 14, 2012 - 9:27 pm
The process to return your car because of it being a lemon is different in every state. If your new car needs repeated repairs or it has been out of service for several days, it may be a lemon and you may be entitled to a cash settlement, a refund or a new car. Even if your vehicle does not meet the lemon law requirements of your state, you may still be entitled to a cash settlement, refund or new car under federal law.
It’s important to first check your state’s local lemon laws before thinking about getting a lemon law attorney. Keep a documented log of all repairs/problems since you’ve purchased the car.
