Although the price of gasoline continues to climb upwards, Americans still love driving recreational vehicles. They are big and bulky, and get poor gas mileage, but the convenience of driving a vehicle that also contains some of the comforts of home is appealing, particularly since an RV will allow you to stay in national parks and other campgrounds. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay by a lake? A recreational vehicle does offer vacation opportunities that other types of transportation, such as sport utility vehicles, do not. But like any other vehicle, an RV can break down, and when it does, the repairs can be expensive. They can be even more expensive if you are unprepared for something that many RV buyers don’t know – the lemon laws of most states do not cover recreational vehicles.

Lemon Laws were established in 1978 in an effort to ensure consumers have a voice if their car isn’t repaired properly or if the vehicle they have purchased is within constant need of repairs. Lemon laws protect the rights from the individual to drive a car that is safe as well as in good working condition.

Before any lemon law been around, consumers were left in the dark if their vehicle didn’t work properly or was always wearing down. Basically, you were at the mercy of the manufacturer or auto repair center and had no real power to fight back. Oftentimes car owners were forced to continually purchase expensive repairs out of their own pocket – not something everyone could easily afford to complete. Lemon laws, however, have changed all that.

Do you have a motor house, all-terrain motor vehicle, tractor, motorbike or every other motorized transportation with under four wheels? Did you purchase it fresh only to get out it is a dud, one thing like an automobile lemon? Your rights as being a consumer when it comes to the lemon law and its interpretation is determined by which state you live in. Nope, it isn’t the state of denial, that is what you want to reside in just after investing all that revenue, only to have a dud car or truck!

Let’s appear in the lemon law Florida has handed by legislature. Their lemon law only covers new autos bought or leased. The auto use must be for personal or particular use and does not include any motor vehicles ridden off road or any cars lower than 4 wheels. Plus the lemon law California has will not consider the off-road automobiles and other modes of transportation apart from a brand new motor vehicle with 4 wheels. On the other hand, motor property chassis are covered, but not the body.

I recently purchaced a privately owned used car and it is having problems. The guy who sold me the car misrepresented is and sold it to me under false pretence. Now I want to return the car for my money back and he is giving me the run around and telling me lies like he’s out of the country and he doesn’t have the money. When I purchased the car he said it haden’t been in any accidents and he up kept the car. I purchased a carfax report after i purchased the car because I didn’t want him to sell it to anyone else, and found out it was in a front end collision and received major damage. He also did not up keep the car because when I had it inspected it was low on all of the fluids and the engine was starting to suffer. I’m not exactly sure what to do. I’m thinking about taking him to court, but i’m not sure if this falls under any Maryland Lemon laws.
