Chevy Cobalt owners need answers?
how long does it actually take to replace a steering motor in a chevy cobalt. Should it only just take 20 min or up to 3 hours like they told me. They had it fixed in 20 min i don’t believe they fixed it because it still is acting up. I just got off the phone with Chevy again and have to take my car back in for them to look at it on Monday. I asked the service manger how long it take for them to replace my steering motor ( i have electric steering) and he said a couple of hours, so i proceeded to ask him how did they have my car ready in 15 mins and he said that he can assure me they replaced it. How is it so if it take a couple of hours and they had it ready in 15 when they were busy.
I have done a lemon law on this car two years ago and they said it was not a lemon and paid me 4,000. It has been in the shop over 35 times for different crap. What can i do
When do I give my puppies health guarantee and sales agreement to the new owners.?
I researched the puppy lemon law in PA and Im actually going to print that out on the back of my puppy contracts. What Im wondering is do I give them the health guarantee and sales agreement when they come to put down a deposit on the puppy or do I give them that information when they pick up the puppy? Im confused. If they sign the contract when they come to put a deposit on the pup, I dont want them to think that the warranty is from that point. Should I put date of agreement and then a section for date of purchase. Often times though people dont know exactly when they are comming. Thanks for your help.
Georgia’s Lemon Law is Revised to protect the Bigger Vehicle Owners
Georgia’s Lemon Law was entirely different from the Texas Lemon Law, because of the time and mileage eligibility. The time and mileage eligibility in Georgia was half of what it was in Texas. As of January 1, 2009, cars and most other vehicles purchased in the state of Georgia will be protected by the Georgia Lemon Law for 24,000 miles/24 month. Further, the Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs of Georgia promises that the Georgia state lemon law process will be more stream-lined and consumer friendly. After the revision, the Georgia Lemon Law covers vehicles intended for use in small businesses and cars or trucks that weigh as much as 12,000 pounds.
Previously only new motor vehicles were covered by the Georgia Lemon Law. This means new vehicles aimed to transport people or property over public highways that were purchased, leased or registered in Georgia on or after January 1, 2009. The title of the vehicle must be in the name of the buyer or lessee and must be from only a new motor vehicle dealer.
My NISSAN VERSA sucks!!! Any other owners having problems?
In July I bought a 2007 Nissan Versa, and within 3 weeks it had been in for repairs 3 times, and since then its been in for an additional 2 problems. These problems are with sensors, I’ve have to have the evaporation flow canister replaced, the tire pressure monitor has come on 2 different times and its currently in repair for an air flow sensor, and my dealership called yesterday to say they were going to have to replace the Intake manifold, as the sensor had welded to that piece and they couldnt get it out.
I’m in RI and planning to contact someone about the Lemon Law, but in the meantime I was just curious is any other Versa owners have experienced any problems?
Let me know, Thanks!

Sour Taste Over Lemon Laws For Non-Traditional Motor Vehicle Owners
Do you have a motor home, all-terrain vehicle, tractor, motorcycle or any other motorized transportation with less than four wheels? Did you buy it brand new only to find out it is a dud, something like a car lemon? Your rights as a consumer when it comes to the lemon law and its interpretation depends on which state you live in. Nope, it is not the state of denial, which is what you would like to live in after spending all that money, only to get a dud vehicle!
Let’s look at the lemon law Florida has passed through legislature. Their lemon law only covers new vehicles bought or leased. The vehicle use must be for private or personal use and does not include any vehicles ridden off road or any vehicles less than four wheels. And the lemon law California has does not take into account the off-road vehicles and other modes of transportation other than a new vehicle with four wheels. However, motor home chassis are covered, but not the body.
