Car Lemon Law

My best friend bought a used car less than two weeks ago and it has a serious problem with the emissions system and we want to know if there is a “lemon law” in the state of Oregon.

I have a 07 aveo whom I think is a lemon. If i decide to get a lemon law lawyer, can I get the manufacturer to pay the car off, and what are the odds of that happening?
